Chevrolet Impala 2004 Oil Life Maintenance Reset
The Impala hasn't changed much since its 2000 model-year debut. It handles fairly well and has good steering feedback. Its 200-hp, 3.8-liter V6 provides very good acceleration from a standstill, but delivers an unimpressive 20 mpg overall. A supercharged V6 is available in the SS model. The Impala's ride is absorbent but unsettled, and road noise is pronounced. The front bench seats lack in thigh support, and while the rear seat is roomy, it's too low and short. Interior fit and finish is borderline offensive. The trunk is spacious, though, and crash-test results are impressive.
