How to Reset The Oil Maintenance Light on Ford Flex 2008-2018

Ford Flex Oil Reset Method 1.

Press and release the SETUP button to display “Oil Life XXX% Hold Reset = New”
Press and hold the RESET button for 2 seconds and release to reset oil life to 100%

Ford Flex Oil Reset Method 2

Turn the vehicle in the ON position
Press and release the TRIP/RESET button until “Setup Menu hold Reset” is displayed
Press and hold the TRIP/RESET button until “System Check” is displayed
Press and release the TRIP/RESET button to scroll through the menu items until “Hold Reset If New Oil” is displayed
Press and hold the TRIP/RESET button until “Oil Life Set To 100%” is displayed
Release the button and the oil life is now reset

Ford Flex Oil Reset Method 3.

Turn the ignition to run, one position before starting engine.
Press the TRIP/RESET button to cycle to “SETUP MENU HOLD RESET”.
Now press and hold the button for 2 seconds until “RESET FOR SYSTEM CHECK” is displayed, then release.
Imediately press and hold button for 2 more seconds until “Oil 100% RESET IF NEW” is displayed, then release.
Imediately press button once to display “HOLD RESET IF NEW OIL” and release.
Imediately press and hold button for 2 seconds until “OIL LIFE SET TO 100%” is displayed.
Turn key off and then start your car and it should be reset.

Ford Flex Oil Reset Method 4.

Turn the ignition to the “on” position, but do not start the engine.
Use the directional pad on the steering wheel and scroll through the settings area under the heading menu
Go to Settings > Vehicle > Oil Life Reset
Push and hold OK until it resets to 100%
Turn off the ignition and then restart the engine

Turn the ignition to run (one position before starting engine).\Use the steering wheel controls to scroll to the Settings Menu and press the right arrow button.
Scroll to the Vehicle Menu and press the right arrow button.
Scroll to Oil Life and press the right arrow button.
Hold the OK button until the display shows "Reset Successful".
Turn the ignition off and then start the engine to verify the indicator has been reset.

Ford Flex Oil Reset Method 5.

Turn the ignition to run, one position before starting engine.
Press the SETUP control to enter SYSTEM CHECK, then press SETUP control again to display “OIL LIFE = XXX% HOLD RESET = NEW”.
Press and hold the RESET control for two seconds and release. Oil life is set to 100% and “OIL LIFE SET TO 100%” is displayed.
While “OIL LIFE SET TO 100%” is displayed, if a lower oil life is desired, press and release the RESET control to reduce the value. Each press of the RESET control reduces the value by 10 percent.
