The BMW F10/F11/F07/F18 is the sixth generation of the BMW 5 Series, which was produced from 2010 to 2017.
The F07 Gran Turismo is the first 5 Series to be available in a fastback body style. The F10 is also the first 5 Series to offer a hybrid drivetrain, a turbocharged V8 engine, an 8-speed automatic transmission, a dual-clutch transmission (in the M5), active rear-wheel steering (called "Integral Active Steering"), electric power steering, double wishbone front suspension, an LCD instrument cluster (called "Black Panel Display") and automatic parking (called "Parking Assistant").In February 2017, the F10 was replaced by the G30 5 Series.The F10 M5 is powered by the S63 twin-turbo V8 engine with a 7-speed dual clutch transmission. It is the first M5 to use a turbocharged engine. 

BMW 5 Series  F10/F11/F07/F18  2011-2013 OIL RESET

  1. Turn ignition to Terminal 15, which is one turn of the key or one press of the START/STOP button. 
  2. Press and hold the SET/RESET button on the instrument cluster for 10 seconds. 
  3. The upper display will be illuminated with a service item. 
  4. The lower display will indicate the remaining time or mileage left for the service item. 
  5. Pressing the button repeatedly will allow the display to scroll through all of the condition based service items. 
  6. Press and hold the SET/RESET button again and the lower display will indicate "OK" or "DUE". 
  7. Pressing the SET/RESET button again will allow the "RESET" to appear in the lower display for  that service. 
  8. Releasing and reapplying the button one more time will reset the service displayed in the upper window only.

BMW 5 Series  F10/F11/F07/F18 2014-ABOVE MODEL OIL RESET

  1. Press the start/stop button once (do not start the engine). 
  2. Press and hold the SET/RESET button until the service indicator light appears. 
  3. Press the SET/RESET button repeatedly to scroll the service menu. 
  4. With the oil change interval highlighted, press and hold the SET/RESET button. 
  5. When "RESET" appears,release the SET/RESET button and press and hold again. 
  6. Reset complete when "OK" and new mileage appears.
  7. Turn ignition off.
